Stretching Part 1: Understanding ROM|
THIS IS THE SECOND WORKSHOP OF A 4-PART TRAINING SERIES BEST DONE AS A SET
- Tuesday, August 25
7:00p - 9:00p (PDT)
However, if you can't attend the full series, there is plenty to learn from taking one or more workshops on an individual basis.
Conversations regarding stretching are rife with buzzwords and misinformation. This leads to a misunderstanding of what stretching is and what it is good for, and creates confusion between stretching techniques and techniques used to increase one's range of motion.
This workshop will help you to make sense of these conversations. In this workshop, you will refine your understanding of why and when stretching is appropriate and what permits and restricts one's range of motion. You will learn to assess movement barriers and the techniques to move beyond them.
Workshop emphasis is on refining functional skills and training safely. And with a focus on intelligent training these workshops will benefit you in ways you didn't expect.
